INTRODUCING OUR NEW DRYLAND FITNESS PROGRAM!
DryLand is a new strength and conditioning program designed to improve performance in the water! These workouts are designed to build a foundation of strength and mobility which translate to improved in and out of water fitness. DryLand classes are offered for two different age groups. Both ages groups include a DryLand workout and swim time.
AGES 7-17 This class is one hour DryLand and one hour in the pool. The first half of the class will focus on physically and mentally educating young athletes on how to property take care of their bodies while working out. These workouts will be specific to strengthening muscles that are used while swimming. For the second half of the class, participants will join in with our STROKE CLINIC for stroke-targeted swim training. Lifelong skills and memories will be made! This is a 2 hour class from 1:00-3:00pm
AGES 3-6 This class is one hour of DryLand activities and 30 minutes in the pool. It is designed to plant the seeds that will inspire a healthy lifestyle. These young children will be encouraged to play hard and learn along the way. Team building games and exercises will be played to get your young athletes heart rates up and ready for a nap! This class runs 1:45-3:30pm.
- Ages 3-6: Saturdays 1:45-3:30pm
- Ages 7-17: Saturdays 1:00-3:00pm
The Dry Land portion of the class will be taught by Long Beach NY native, Shannon Horgan.
Shannon graduated Clemson University in 2018
with a degree in Health Science. She is an accomplished Athlete.
Her greatest accomplishments as a D1 Soccer Player include ACC Champion at Clemson, Team USA U-20 World Cup Champion, Swedish Cup Champion & 2019 NWSL Champion.
