LONG BEACH – Residents of Long Beach who have been struggling for months to overcome the devastation left behind by Superstorm Sandy gathered today to rebuild a local playground.

Magnolia Park, located just off of the city’s iconic boardwalk, was completely destroyed by the powerful storm.

More than 200 volunteers came together today to make the park a special place to visit once again. They powered through all of the work that normally would have taken weeks in just one day.
